Leslie Sklair teaches sociology at LSE, and is responsible for the PhD programme in the Sociology Department. He has been Visiting Professor at New York, San Diego State and Hong Kong Universities, and has lectured on globalization all over the world. His publications include Sociology of the Global System (1991, 1995, third edition in preparation, translated into Japanese, Portuguese, Persian, Chinese and Spanish) and The Transnational Capitalist Class (2000).
